Caitlin Davies – Private Inquiries: The Secret History of Female Sleuths

Female private eyes have been a staple of popular culture for over 150 years – from plucky Victorian ladies to ‘busy body spinsters’ and fearless modern investigators. But what about the real women detectives? What crimes did they solve? Where are their stories?

Caitlin is a novelist, non-fiction writer, teacher, mentor and journalist. She’s the author of six novels and eight non-fiction books. She will join us via Zoom to talk about her book.
Note that this event is not in the library hall while works are being undertaken – we will be in the school hall next door.
